This simple homemade strawberry puree requires just 3 ingredients and 15 minutes to make. Perfect for desserts, breakfast, drinks, and more, this versatile fruit puree adds natural sweetness and vibrant color to any dish.

Ingredients

    • 1 pint of strawberries (2 cups)

    • 1/4 cup sugar

    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Wash strawberries thoroughly and remove stems.
  • Cut large strawberries in half.
  • Add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt to blender.
  • Blend until smooth (about 30-60 seconds).
  • Strain through fine-mesh sieve if desired (optional).

 

  • Use immediately or store properly.

  • For a smoother texture, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  • Add a pinch of salt to enhance the natural strawberry flavor.
  • Use frozen strawberries when fresh aren’t in season – just thaw slightly before blending.
